Manowar and the early days
On the very first day that World of Warcraft has been released in Europe, the Horde Guild named Manowar appeared on the Warsong Realm. The Guild Charter has been signed by several legendary players all originating from Bulgaria. The first Guild Master, was the Undead Mage Almaludaka. The Guild gathered more than 50 members in a matter of week and gave one of the first characters to reach level 60 on Warsong. It eventually became the largest Bulgarian guild on Warsong. The Fall of Manowar and the Rise of a new Legend
The days were passing, the sands of time ran low. Heroes from far and wide sought the blessing of the Bulgarian Guild, begging humbly to become a part of the legend, but by the will of Gods it was not meant to be. The filth of greed and corruption poisoned the minds and hearts of the feeble minded. Blinded by the promise of wealth and blood-stained fortune, members of the guild abandoned the holy virtues of Manowar. It was Isbul ??“ the mighty orc warrior, who spoke the words of honor to those who lost their souls to greed. By his unbending will he claimed all those who cherish no more warriors??™ honor and loyalty leave the guild. Along with his trustworthy fellow brethren, Isbul formed a new guild by the name of Overpowered.
The Greed and The Resurrection
In the early days of Overpowered, the guild lost one of its legendary founders. The mighty tauren warrior Baru decided to move to the guild named Imbalanced in a search of new adventures. Although he betrayed his country, he didn't sell his soul to the greediness. Isbul managed to organize the new guild and Overpowered managed to become the best bulgarian guild on the realm. Overpowered again started to attract a lot of players to its glorious ranks. This was to become a major mistake in the near future. As more and more characters were reaching level 60, the guild started to organize its first Molten Core raids with the help of XW and the Devastating Throng. The guild yet lacked the organization and experience to make a successful Molten Core raid. This was the time, all greedy or weak-willed players decided to move to other guilds in order to exploit their organization and experience in a wild hunt for items. Most of those players moved to either Enslaved, DNU or Bad Omen. Unfortunately, that was the time, the guild lost its Guild Master Isbul. He decided to stop playing for a period of 6 months. Those were hard times, and Overpowered lost more than 75% of its level 60 characters. The few who stayed, were players driven by the pride instead of the greed, players with strong will to organize the Guild against all odds. Gargammel, the proud Troll Shaman was chosen to be the new Guild Master along with several officers, all legendary players
Draken, The Orc Shaman also known as Draken the Purple
Almaludaka, The Misterious Undead Mage also know as Almaludaka the Furious
Frizera, The Troll Mage also known as the Knight of Pleven
Drolgor, The Mighty Tauren warrior also known as The Main Tank of Sofia.
Those people managed to revive the guild and eventually lead its players to achieve eternal glory. The Bulgarian Pride, the Guild of the Bulgarian People has been once more resurrected from the ashes.
The Molten Core Adventures
In the summer of 2005, Overpowered landed a full scale offensive on the Molten Core Dungeon. One of the Officers, Drolgor, pledged himself to the cause and became the Main Tank of the Guild. His fellow compatriot, the Tauren Warrior Infinit, known as Pesho Quel Serrar-a chose his destiny to tank alongside. Although Overpowered experienced multiple wipes in the early Molten Core steps, the victory was inevitable. The greediness and dishonor were long forgotten, and all players were striving for the guild success. Lucifron laid down on 3th of July 2005, shortly followed by Magmadar. The first real challenge was the mighty Rock Elemental named Garr. After a long 2 weeks battle, Overpowered managed to slay him down. Baron Geddon gave up on his resistance after long epic battle, his powers were strong but couldn't overcome the ressurecting powers of the young bulgarian guild. At that point, the gates to Ragnaros, The Fire Lord, were open. His last line of defense, MajorDomo did not offer any challenge to the ever gaining confidence Overpowered. Ragnaros himself was totally eradicated from the World of Azeroth on October the 8th 2005. The Guild Master looted his corpse, and the words Sveta Mayko will always stay in the memories. During the whole Molten Core campaign, Overpowered became the best Bulgarian Guild on Warsong once and for all. The Guild was joined by famous and honorable players. The stories were spread around the World of Azeroth and Bulgarian players were eager to join the glorious ranks of Overpowered. New Officers were chosen to join the leading team of Overpowered
Patkan, The Orc Warrior also known as Patkan the Dwarf Killer. Stories were spread around the world that the King of Ironforge himself could not sleep without fear even behind the strong gates of Ironforge.
Maznjo, The Troll Shaman also known as Maznjo The Armorsmith, member of the underground organization: Troll Secret Services (TSS). He managed to discover the plans of Magni Bronzebeard to send his beloved general Vodan to assasinate Patkan. Thanks to his information and the joint forces of Patkan, Drolgor and Gargammel, Vodan was executed on Dec the 1st, 2005 close to the Lumber Mill in Arathi Basin.
The BWL Endeavour
The first steps in BlackWing Lair were made in the early November 2005. After long battles, the Razorgore legioners were finally outrunned by the lonely shaman long distance runners. Draken, Maznjo, Gargammel, Sediastiabik, Nephthys, Hinci all gold olympic medalists from the past, did not have any problems in beating the legioners, and crossed the finish line with a full round in advance. Razorgore himself did not post any threat to either Drolgor or Infinit, and now rests in peace in the Abyss. Drolgor, simply pointed the door leading to Vael's room and said: "All are gathered here, victory is near. The sound will fill the hall, bringing power to us all". Overpowered managed to free Vaelastrasz from Nefarian's corruption on Dec 10th, 2005. At that point there was no power on Azeroth that can save Nefarian from a certain death. He was slain on Jan 16th, 2006 and Overpowered became the first pure bulgarian guild to kill Nefarian.
The Crafting of Thunderfury
By the Will of The Gods, Overpowered migrated from Warsong to the Emeriss PVP Realm in December 2005. One of the new guilds we have met on Emeriss, turned to be a Guild of Great Honor. A World Famous Blacksmith from Method, also known as Pretender the Noble, helped us in forging the first Thunderfury ever crafted on Emeriss. Glorious days those were, a days of joy, glory and gratefulness. A new realm it was, a new name they gave to Drolgor -> Drolgor The Thunderfury.
The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj
Gargammel knew that the time will come for Overpowered to stand together with their bretheren of Method against a great evil.
He told his people: "We'll all fight united till we win or we'll fight until we die."
It was January 26th 2006 that the three armies of Method, Overpowered and Fallen Keepers stood together in Moonglade to fight Eranikus and it was Drolgor the Thunderfury who spoke the words of honor to his people:
"I will lead the charge with my sword into the wind
Burn the bridge behind you, leave no retreat
Stand and fight sons of Bulgaria
Stand and fight, say what you feel, born with a heart of steel"
The fate of Eranikus have been decided. He was redeemed by the Horde that same day: Jan 26th, 2006.
Ahn'Qiraj
The gate opened, a new journey began. Bugs had infected the land, thus the mighty knights of Overpowered have sworn to protect Kalimdor from the evil. A full scale siege was laid on the bug infested dungeon on March the 3rd, 2006. The Prophet Skeram along with his beloved Bug Family died that very same day. Sartura and Fankriss shared the same destiny and fell down before the might of the Bulgarian Guild in march. So there the heroes stood before the mighty Princess Huhuran and waited for the signal to attack with swords into the wind. So they did, but it was not meant to be an easy victory. A full month it was, a month of epic battles and death until Huhuran finally fell on May 1st, 2006. The emperors chamber was wide open, and for the first time we humbled in the face of the bug masses. But a famous prophecy came to be. It was Draken who cursed to the Emperors:
"You feel at ease as you flock with the bugs masses,
But what do you see with your heads in their asses"
So did the emperors die with their heads in their asses and the prophecy was fulfiled on June the 22nd, 2006. CThun's time is here, did we panic or did we fear? Long months of struggle, even more time of flasks smuggle. Ahh, the competition with the other guilds on the server was slowly killing the motivation and many weak souls listened to the whispering of the Old God: "You will betray your friends", and so they did. It was then, that Gargammel spoke to the people:
"First we learn to Fly, then we learn to Cry, and later in the evening we will probably Die,
Who cares if we do not enter the hall of Fame, after all, we are all here to play the freaking Game
You've entered these gates with me and there is nothing left to Fear, believe me he will die, the victory is Near."
It was the 23rd day of November when Drolgor whispered into his ear:
"For all the games you have Played, you'll now kiss the Thunderfury Blade
I will tear your eye Apart, you bulky greenish Fart"
